Couples workshop

What to expect?

Prepare/Enrich (P/E) is a group workshop (although there is an option to do it individually with just you and your partner if preferred) that explores various areas within the relationship, including communication, conflict resolution, finances, and spiritual beliefs. The benefit of the group is that it allows for and encourages discussion, connection, and a shared experience. The workshop is a total of six hours split over two Saturdays, two weeks apart, for three hours each time (typically 9 am-12noon). Currently, the maximum number of participants is four couples or eight people.

A week before the workshop, each participant completes a HIPAA compliant, comprehensive assessment from the comfort of home. The workshop is organized based on the primary areas for growth each couple reveals through their evaluation. Examples include communication, conflict resolution, stress management, finances, sex, and romance.

The group's structure primarily consists of discussions, activities with you and your partner, and a debrief. Each participant receives a copy of their personalized results.

The group and all discussions are confidential. Please contact me to discuss further what to expect. I am happy to answer any questions you and your partner may have.

IS THIS A TEST?

NO, it is not a test. It's an assessment of your relationship across several categories. Review below what the assessment is and is not, so you have a deeper understanding of what it will do for your relationship.

P/E IS:

  • A momentary snapshot of your relationship

  • A catalyst for discussion between you and your partner

  • A proven means to lower your risk of divorce

  • An accurate, research-based report of your relationship strength and growth areas

P/E IS NOT:

  • A reflection of what your relationship historically has been or will be in the future

  • A compatibility report or a test you can pass or fail

  • A guarantee for a successful relationship

  • A measure that indicates you should break up or get married

  • A replacement for professional relationship counseling
